What is a home safety assessment, and who is it for?A home safety assessment is a professional, in-home evaluation designed to identify potential hazards and improve safety — especially for older adults or individuals with chronic conditions like diabetes. It’s ideal for anyone concerned about falls, mobility, or maintaining independence at home.
-
What happens during the assessment?Welldom conducts a detailed walkthrough of your living space — whether it’s your home, an independent living apartment, or an assisted living residence. We look for safety risks and recommend personalized changes, ranging from simple adjustments to long-term modifications.
-
What kind of recommendations will I receive? After the visit, you’ll get a personalized report with clear, practical steps you can take — such as installing grab bars, improving lighting, removing tripping hazards, or reorganizing spaces to support mobility and daily routines.
